The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) is a national organization that plays a leading role in advocating for the licensed geoscience profession. The AEG provides opportunities for geoscience student professional development, including networking (e.g., professional chapter meetings), webinars, and other materials.
I serve as the advisor for the MU AEG Student Chapter. Although this is not the official web page for that club, I will post relevant content from time-to-time, here.
The MU AEG Student Chapter website can be found at https://engage.missouri.edu/aegmu/home/
AEG membership is FREE for STUDENTS. The AEG provides resources and opportunities for professional development and networking. In addition to the student chapter, there is a very active professional chapter in St. Louis that meets monthly during the school year. Join AEG today at https://www.aegweb.org/join-aeg.
Thanks to Everyone who attended the 2025 Sinkhole Social in Rock Bridge State Park. We had more than 40 (plus guests and children) attend, and it was a wonderful afternoon. Although a bit cool, there was no rain! :)
It was a great group of geoscience students and professionals from all around the state, and there was a lot of networking going on!
The MIZ AEG Students appreciate all of the support, and they look forward to the next opportunity engage with the broad community of students and professionals from all around Missouri.
